We offer three levels of editing to suit your needs:

(1) Line Editing

Could your story be tightened? Are your redundancies…well, redundant? Does your dialogue make sense? Line editing offers suggestions for improving your prose.

(2) Copy Editing

Consistency matters. Is your character blonde on one page and blond (or brunette!) on the next? Do you love or loathe the Oxford comma? How do you capitalize and hyphenate your text? Copy editing is the process of checking the details—and yes, the odd misspelling can be caught, too.

(3) Proofreading

Let’s face it: English is a weird language. Even native speakers make mistakes. With a good proofread, we’ll clean up your its and it’s, perfect your punctuation, and make sure you’re not having a thought about something when you meant to go through it.

Genres

We prefer to work with manuscripts of all lengths in romance, fantasy, and science fiction, but we’re not closed to other genres! Tell us about your work, and let’s see if we’re a good fit for you.

Pricing

All pricing is based on a standard 250-word page. It doesn’t matter how your manuscript is formatted—we work by word count.

Each edit includes one pass by one editor.
